That means, as much as we will endeavor to meet your expectations, your cooperation also makes a difference, especially in a manufacturing environment.

Why?

Business-to-business (B2B), is an infinitely more complex buying funnel than business-to-consumer (B2C). Typically, there is more than one buying influence and requires a high level of customization and/or discussion from preference-to-close. That means, for us to take your garments from thought to material, your input is vital which is why we also expect a level of effort from you.

You can’t create stellar clothing without mutual effort, so here is what we expect from you.

Standard requirements for each Runway Kit Manufacturing Package

Ready Styles

With an abundance of highly curated and trendy ready design silhouettes to choose from the requirements and details we need from you are minimal. However, if you want to add custom logos or prints to these silhouettes, we will need you to provide the necessary details. Find out exactly what you need to provide to have your own custom prints and logos on Ready Styles.

 

Custom Styles

If you already have a design ready to do, we need a detailed tech pack to bring it to life. In your tech pack, with as much detail as possible, include:

  • Design and elaborate your sketch
  • Base size measurement guidelines
  • Fabric and trim details
  • Embellishment details (if any)
  • Inspirational images (if any)

All these requirements can be uploaded on to the Custom Styles form that you fill out when placing your order. If you require a custom print or logo added to your design, you’ll need to provide some more details. Find out what you need to provide here.

Manufacture Styles

If you have an entire collection ready and looking to produce in bulk, providing the following information with as much detail will allow us to create your line:

  • Design and elaborate your sketch
  • Base size measurement guidelines
  • Fabric and trim details
  • Embellishment details (if any)
  • Inspirational images (if any)

Note, your graded patterns must be sent to us in either DXF or MDL format. All these details can be added in the form you fill when you place your Manufacture Styles order on our website. Standard requirements for custom print orders

At Runway Kit, we do placement prints and all-over-prints for all clothing categories across any of our three packages. For us to take your custom print request, we will need the following information:

  • Your artwork file in AI, PSD, PDF or TIFF formats.
  • For placement prints, please provide the exact specifications and dimensions of where that print needs to be placed when you are connected with our technical experts. Alternatively, if you require the assistance of a technical expert, we are pleased to recommend the most suitable area.
  • For all-over-prints, please provide the relevant artwork file with the repeat swatch. Repeat swatch details how a print should be repeated.
  • Pantone codes of the colors of your artwork.
  • Any other guidelines and specifications you need to let us know to execute your custom print order.

Requirements for logo application and print requests

Runway Kit offers logo developments and/or applications for all clothing categories across all three manufacturing packages. If you want our experts to add a logo in, please provide:

  • The artwork file in AI or PSD format.
  • If you have fine details on logo placement and dimensions, you will need to provide us with the exact dimensions of the position where the logo should be placed on the garment.

Requirements for agreed lead times

To meet your expectations and lead times we have promised at each stage of the design-to-manufacture process in our packages, your cooperation is also required. In order for you to have the best experience and for our experts to manufacture exactly what you want, please ensure that you:

  • Reply to inquiries from our experts on the messaging board at your earliest.
  • Send through all required details as mentioned in each of the sections in this article.
  • When placing an order, our team will share with you a style clarification sheet. In order for us to proceed your order to the next stage, you are required to fill out the details at your earliest.
  • When agreeing on the feasibility and commencing production, you must have the required payment outlined to you.

To make the process as seamless and smooth as possible, you will receive email notification every time a message appears on your messaging board between us and you.

Requirements for per piece price estimation of bulk orders

We know that you want a final per piece costing prior to committing a project. For us to be able to provide accurate cost estimation, we require the following details from you:

  • A detailed tech pack of the garment, including all details of the raw material.
  • Order quantity that you are planning to manufacture. Note that the cost per piece comes down to higher quantity orders.
  • Color breakdown.
  • Any information such as the requirement for logos, care labels, etc.
  • Sizing specifications of your order.

Based on the above information, our team will reach out to our suppliers and technical teams to assess material requirements, garment construction to develop an accurate cost estimation. This typically takes about one week from receiving information.

Requirements for designing care labels

As part of our manufacturing capabilities, we also offer hand tag and care label development and application, as well. In order for us to provide this service, please include the following details:

 

Hand tags

  • Hand tag artwork (AI, PSD or PDF file format)
  • Pantone color codes for preferred colors.
  • Paper board size dimensions (including thickness – GSM) and color
  • Drawcord color and thickness.
  • How you prefer the tag to be attached to the garment.
  • How you prefer the tag to be attached to the garment.

 

Care labels

  • Care label artwork (AI, PSD or PDF file format).
  • Pantone color codes for preferred colors.
  • Care label material.
  • Care label dimensions.
  • Where to apply the label to the garment.
